How to Use Your NFC Wristbands and Wallet Card
Each pack contains three NFC Bible verse wristbands and one NFC wallet card. Every wristband and the card has its own NFC chip. They all open the same Daily Bible Verse page.
What you need
A phone that supports NFC tag reading and an internet connection through Wi-Fi or mobile data. Compatible phones can open the link without a dedicated app. The wristbands and card have no battery to charge.
How to scan
- Wake and unlock your phone.
- Hold one wristband or the card close to your phone's NFC reader. Keep other NFC cards or wristbands away while scanning.
- Hold still for a moment. When a notification appears, tap it to open the verse page.
iPhone
On an iPhone that supports background tag reading, hold the top edge of the phone close to the wristband or card. Background reading was introduced with iPhone XS, XS Max and XR. iPhone X and earlier do not offer the same automatic scanning experience; older compatible models may need a manual reading step.
After restarting the phone, unlock it once before scanning. Close the Camera and Wallet apps and turn off Airplane Mode if the notification does not appear. Contact us with your exact phone model before ordering if you are unsure about compatibility.
Android
Check that your exact phone model includes NFC. Search your phone's Settings for NFC and enable it if the option is available. The reader's position varies by model, commonly around the upper or middle back of the phone. With the screen on and the phone unlocked, slowly move it across one wristband or the card until it reads.
Using the wallet card
The included NFC card works independently of the wristbands. It is not just a packaging insert. Keep it in your wallet, Bible or bag, then take it out to scan if it does not read through the wallet.
If it still does not scan
Try without a thick or metal phone case. Separate the card from other contactless cards and remove it from any RFID-blocking wallet. Make sure NFC is enabled where your phone offers that setting, then try another position near the phone's reader.
If the notification appears but the page does not load, the tag has been read. Check your internet connection and try opening the Daily Bible Verse page directly.

What does the verse change?
The NFC link opens the Daily Bible Verse webpage. It does not change the words printed on the wristbands or card.
