How to Use an NFC Bible Verse Wristband on iPhone and Android

Using an NFC Bible verse wristband or NFC Bible verse card only takes a few seconds, but the best scanning position depends on your phone.

On iPhone

Unlock your phone and hold the top of the iPhone close to the wristband or card. Keep it there for a moment. When the notification appears, tap it to open the Daily Bible Verse.

If nothing happens, remove a thick case and try again with the top edge of the phone closer to the NFC area.

On Android

First make sure NFC is turned on in your phone settings. Then unlock the phone and slowly move the back of the device across the wristband or card. The NFC antenna may be near the top, center or another part of the back depending on the model.

If it is not scanning

Keep the phone unlocked, try without a thick case, and avoid placing metal accessories between the phone and the NFC item. Moving the phone slowly usually works better than tapping quickly.
